Arguably the most terrified either of us have ever been. The cable car from Gimmelwald to Stechelberg literally drops vertically down into the valley. Best part is, you have no idea it’s coming. This would have been a longer clip, but we kind of lost it.

Now that we’re safe and sound back in the USA, we’ve finally been able to retrieve some of the beautiful videos we took using our awesome Flip video camcorder. Here are some of the highlights!

This is it, dear readers! After disembarking (tears were shed) the Britannica at 6:30 a.m. England-time, we contemplated how to make the most of our last day of this long and very excellent adventure. Although originally our plan was to nab an early train from Harwich to London and ground ourselves until our flight the next morning, we spontaneously decided to hop a ride to Cambridge—nearby, but...

Eau de Cologne
With Berlin at our back, the E.A.’s had all of Germany to explore. With only five days left, we had to choose our destinations wisely, electing to skip Rothenburg or Munich (which someday we plan to return to) in favor of heading to Cologne. Horst and Nadine are friends of Peter’s sister and call Cologne home. During our 24 hours in town, they fed us (in legendary fashion, see photos...
